lisaroseannebartholomew It is so soothing and peaceful and very effectively transports the listener to a dreamy and ethereal place. Really nice guitar work merged with organic synth sounds. A great listening experience. Favorite track: The Dunes.

"The Body Begins" (2012) is Chris' seventh release. It's a 60 minute set of seven meditative, minimalistic works for classical guitar & occasional synth.

This record came about through talks with New York-based massage therapist Gwen Guarino (, specifically about composing a new kind of music inspired by body-work and massage that's.

What resulted was something that is not mood music, or massage music. It's a collection of seven ambient works made to bring you to the present moment. This is spacious, minimalistic music, but it's also music with tension & subtle melodic development. Music to relax to, as background, or music to listen to closely in and of itself.
